Data Deletion Instructions
Last updated:
1. What data we may hold about you
The NorDesh does not require user accounts. The only personal data we may hold about you is:
- Contact-form submissions: if you have written to us, we hold your name, email, and message.
- Server logs: standard web logs containing your IP address and request metadata, automatically deleted after 30 days.
- Social-platform data:if you interact with our content on Facebook, Instagram, or Threads, those interactions are governed by Meta’s own privacy policy and are not held by us.
2. How to request deletion
To request deletion of any personal data we hold about you, email shehab.nordesh@gmail.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request” and include:
- The email address you used to contact us, if applicable.
- A brief description of what data you would like deleted (e.g. “all messages I have sent”).
We may ask for additional information to verify your identity before processing the request, in order to protect your data from unauthorised deletion.
3. Response timeline
We will confirm receipt within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30 days, in line with GDPR Article 12. If your request is particularly complex, we may extend this period by a further two months and will notify you of the reason.
4. What we cannot delete
In limited cases, we may be required to retain certain data to comply with legal obligations — for example, accounting records under Norwegian tax law, or records relating to a legal dispute. Where this applies, we will explain it in our response and delete everything else.
5. Complaints
If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet) at datatilsynet.no.
